Stock loss and theft creates inventory and stock out problems, causing multiple difficulties for retailers. At Catalyst, we provide a range of EAS and RFID products that help to prevent the problem.

EAS security systems

Catalyst provides a variety of options to create a complete EAS security system.

Labels

As part of our comprehensive security solution to fit your specific retail needs, we also offer EAS and non-EAS security labels. Labels are ideal for products that are difficult to hard tag, such as cosmetics or frozen food.

Safers

Safer cases are engineered with a unique anti theft design to ensure the safety DVDs, perfumes, batteries and other retail accessories.

Deactivators and detachers

Once the customer has bought the product, you will need to deactivate or remove the security tag. We provide both magnetic and mechanical tag detachers and a range of tag deactivators.

Pedestals

Security pedestals, otherwise known as antennas or security gates, are set up at the store entry / exit as a theft deterrent. They will alert you if any active tag or label has passed through them indicating a product may have been stolen.

Accessories

We also offer a full range of EAS accessories, including pins, lanyards and alarm management systems and sounders.

RFID and stock loss security

Catalyst's range of RFID security systems offer significant benefits to the retailer. Unlike other security systems, the hardware can be discrete and aesthetically pleasing. Also, the RFID tags are 'smart'. This means that each tag is associated to a particular product - when an alarm is triggered, store security can be instantly notified of the exact item responsible.

Overhead reader

The Catalyst Safe is a discrete overhead security device that detects and sounds an alarm when a product is detected.

Security Mat

Like the overhead safe, the Catalyst Mat offers discrete and reliable detection of products. The only difference is that the device is a mat placed on or under the floor.

RFID security pedestals

Catalyst RFID pedestals can also be placed by the exit to alert security staff when a product has been stolen. We offer a number of options, including combined EAS and RFID technologies. Furthermore, due to the extended read range of RFID, the pedestals can be placed much further apart than traditional EAS products.
